SUBMIT YOUR CAT FOR A CHANCE TO BE PAINTED

I started my new group cat painting The Sillies on August 28th, 2022. The theme for this one is blepping cats, or cats sticking their tongue out in a funny way! Please email me photos for consideration after reviewing the guidelines below. Thank you!!

-good quality, well lit photos

-cat is blepping/tongue is out

-head is facing the camera

-full face and ears are showing

-photo is cropped close to the face, as shown in examples above

-you can submit as many different photos as you like! 

☆Please include the cat's name and social media (if they have one)☆

-cat is not blepping/tongue out

-cropped out ears/face

-too zoomed out

-blurry, poorly lit

-head is facing down or to the side

-you don't need to submit the same photo repeatedly, once is good!

Please remember that I'm just one person and I can't possibly paint every cat that is submitted. I would if I could!! 

As of October 7th, 2023, over 13,700 submissions have been emailed for The Sillies so far. I save the photos that spark painting inspiration to my phone, then I choose from there when I'm about to paint another one in! After the painting is finished, I will upload my favorite photos from the submissions and ask other artists to try their hand at painting some cats! I might even create a small book of the photos as well.
